great read.. with illustrations, it really depicts the life during old days. When translating from any language and Sanskrit in particular, bringing the real sense what the original author is trying to explain, is an art. Kant has this exceptional quality which makes this translation very different than others. I could not read more than 2 pages of other English translations of Rigveda, mainly due to Biblical English style and unable to make sense of the hymn. Looking forward to the full version of Rigveda translation from Kant.Product details

Kant has written a truly remarkable book. I predict that in the years to come his effort will be seen as a major scholarly achievement. In fact, if Kant is correct, and I am inclined to think that he is, translations of ancient Sanskrit texts need to be revisited.
I read the book on the trot in one sitting! Its an engrossing read that provides a refreshing perspective. The amount of effort that the author must have taken to compile even this miniscule part of the Rigveda deserves applaud.
Having tried to read some of the other books on Hindu Philosophy and the scriptures, it would be a treat if the author is able to publish more such works.
